Chapter 24: You Both Have the Same Thoughts:

A woman with such mature charm was naturally a valuable prize. Not making her part of the imperial harem would be a waste.

Hearing Ling Ye's words, Su Wanxi's eyes widened in astonishment. She never expected him to say something like this—to make her his concubine?

For a moment, Su Wanxi was speechless. The joy was overwhelming, almost making her feel like she was dreaming. Of course, she was willing! She had thought that being able to serve Ling Ye for a day would be a great honor. But now, he wanted her as his imperial consort? Could there be a better outcome?

"Unwilling?" Ling Ye asked again.

"Willing! Of course, I'm willing! To be favored by Your Majesty is my greatest fortune!" Su Wanxi quickly replied. "If Your Majesty doesn't mind, I am willing to serve you all my life!"

For her, serving Ling Ye was indeed a great honor. She had no reluctance at all.

"Then what are you waiting for? Show me your skills," Ling Ye said with a slight smile, withdrawing his hand.

A blush rose on Su Wanxi's charming face. That night, Ling Ye personally confirmed that the beautiful woman, Su Wanxi, indeed lived up to her reputation as the most stunning woman in Lei Province. Her allure was distinct from that of Ji Ziru. Which was better? Each had their strengths. In the quiet of the night, a mature and sexy woman like Su Wanxi was indeed better.

Meanwhile, in another part of the house, Su Xinyue was pacing back and forth in her room. She pouted in frustration. It was infuriating that everyone, even her mother, had eyes on her master. What about her? Was she destined to remain just a student to Ling Ye? That thought felt too unsatisfactory.

Su Xinyue's thoughts grew restless. Remembering how her mother dressed so alluringly, she couldn't sleep. She even had an impulse to defy her mother's wishes and go to Ling Ye's room. But she suppressed these rebellious thoughts. After all, that was her mother. Serving Ling Ye together with her mother was possible, but it was also somewhat embarrassing.

So, Su Xinyue continued to pace in her room, trying to calm her restless heart. Sleep wouldn't be easy tonight.

...

Feeling a mixture of accomplishment, satisfaction, and guilt, Su Wanxi lay beside Ling Ye. After all, Ling Ye was her daughter's master. The man her daughter brought home was now sleeping with her. She felt she had wronged Su Xinyue. Perhaps if Su Xinyue had come to Ling Ye, she would be his partner instead. Now, it felt like she had stolen her daughter's man.

"What do you think of Xinyue?" Su Wanxi asked as she lay beside Ling Ye, having served him to his satisfaction. Her question implied that if Ling Ye had feelings for Su Xinyue, she didn't mind her daughter becoming his consort as well.

"She's she, and you're you," Ling Ye said, gently holding Su Wanxi. To be honest, the pleasure she brought him was incredible. Indeed, maturity had its advantages. This trip had been worthwhile. While Su Wanxi wasn't one of the main characters, she was still delightful, especially in her ability to please.

"Your Majesty must know that Xinyue also has feelings for you," Su Wanxi continued softly. "If Your Majesty doesn't mind, I wouldn't mind either."

If none of them minded, then there was nothing to think about—everyone would be happy.

Hearing this, Ling Ye smiled.

'We both have the same thoughts', he mused.

He didn't mind either, and it was only a matter of time. However, for now, Su Xinyue should focus on her cultivating, especially during her peak growth period.

"Since you're not her biological mother, her background must be extraordinary," Ling Ye said calmly. Dragon begets dragon, phoenix begets phoenix. Su Xinyue's exceptional talent indicated that her biological parents were likely remarkable.

"How did you find her?" Ling Ye asked.

"It is indeed strange," Su Wanxi said, leaning gently against Ling Ye's chest. "One day, I went out to gather herbs alone and saw a strange phenomenon in the sky ahead. The void shattered, and after everything calmed down, I found a child there."

It was indeed strange. The brief, bizarre celestial event seemed like this child had been sent to her from above. Finding the child adorable, she adopted her as her own daughter.

Hearing Su Wanxi's words, Ling Ye's eyes narrowed slightly. A celestial phenomenon, the void shattered? It implied that powerful beings had sent this child to Su Wanxi. It seemed that Su Xinyue's true identity was indeed extraordinary.
