Chapter 39: Do You Think It Likes Drinking Your Wife’s Milk?:
"This..." The mother wolf was stunned.
What was going on?
Why did her child run back?
What did this mean?
Just visiting and leaving?
She was her mother! Was her cub choosing that human girl over her? The mother wolf was instantly upset!
"Daughter, come here!" The father wolf jumped down and roared.
"Howl?" The little one, however, lay in Jiang Ruoxi's arms, its big eyes looking at its parents without moving. It was clear that it had chosen a new home.

"Yun Jian, what did you do?" The father wolf immediately roared at Yun Jian.

"What are you talking about? It’s a misunderstanding, Brother Wolf! What could I have done to it?" Yun Jian shrugged. "Isn't it obvious? Your child prefers this young lady over you!"
"Absurd! How could it prefer a human? It's our child!" The father wolf snorted.
"Hey! If you think I did something, the child is right here! You can check its body. With your abilities, you can see its health at a glance, right?" Yun Jian spread his hands.
The father and mother wolf both looked at the little one.
Indeed, their child was very healthy, and seemed even stronger than before.

"Well..." Yun Jian laughed dryly. "You two... step aside for a moment, let's talk." He signaled to Ling Kong and Jiang Ruoxi.
Ling Kong and Jiang Ruoxi nodded, turning around with the little one.
The cub glanced at its parents but showed no signs of reluctance. It seemed happy, as if saying, "Goodbye, parents, I'm off on an adventure..."
"What are you doing, Yun Jian? Are you trying to steal my daughter?" The father and mother wolf's cold aura surged.
"Steal? What are you talking about? Calm down, Brother Wolf, listen to me!" Yun Jian quickly smiled and waved.
The father and mother wolf sat back down. "Fine, let's hear it."
"It's clear your child doesn't like you as much." Yun Jian got straight to the point. "How about letting them raise it?"
"What!?" The father wolf was furious. "Impossible! Why give it to them? Are they going to make my daughter a mount?"
"What mount? That's absurd! The young lady loves your cub; she would spoil it!" Yun Jian quickly said. "Brother Wolf, let's be honest! Your child will eventually leave you. Finding it a good home early isn't a bad thing!"
"What kind of good home is this?" The father and mother wolf were still unwilling.
"Brother Wolf, do you know who that young man is?" Yun Jian asked.
"I don't care who he is!" The father wolf dismissed.
"He is the current empire's crown prince!" Yun Jian revealed.
"Crown… Crown prince?" The father and mother wolf's eyes changed.
A crown prince?
Though they lived in seclusion, they knew what the empire represented. The empire was the ruler of this land!
"And that young lady is likely the future crown princess!" Yun Jian added.
The father and mother wolf exchanged a glance. Their child liked the future crown princess?
"Ask yourselves, is it better for your child to stay with you, or with the crown prince and princess?" Yun Jian asked. "Which has more potential?"
