Ye Wuhen waved his hand and called out to the two girls behind him before turning around and leaving.
Deep down, he knew that he would probably never see them again.

"The scariest part is how skilled he is at killing it." The girl in the black veil added, analyzing the situation. "It was like an art... He didn't even use a weapon, not even against Zhang Chengzhi and his team."
Her calm voice masked her inner turmoil.
What kind of experiences could make someone so proficient at hunting demon beasts?

"If only we had insisted on him joining our team from the start." She thought. But she knew that even if they had invited him, he probably wouldn't have joined.

"Oh no, we didn't even get his name!" The girl in pink robes stomped her foot in frustration as Ye Wuhen vanished from sight.
"If fate allows, we will find out." The girl in the black veil reassured her cousin. Yet, she sighed inwardly, feeling a bittersweet pang.
Even if fate brought them together again, that extraordinary man was destined for a different world than theirs.
