Chapter 301:
Lin Yan looked at the newcomer with both surprise and a bit of delight.

Lin Yan turned to give Duan Kaishan and Qi Bing a few instructions. Then, under their reluctant gazes, he leapt into the air and sped toward the mountain like lightning.
Moments later, a tremendous wave of energy emanated from the mountain, causing Duan Kaishan and Qi Bing to turn serious. They couldn't discern Lin Yan and Xiao Yan's exact strengths, but they could sense that Xiao Yan was extraordinary.

As Xiao Yan spoke, the raging wind reappeared around him. A violent tornado formed beside him, whipping toward Lin Yan like a long whip. Before the tornado even reached him, the strange power emanating from it threatened to tear Lin Yan’s soul. The moves of the Temple of Destiny's cultivators always contained soul-targeting abilities. This tornado would instantly extract the soul of anyone not strong enough to withstand it.
Faced with the incoming tornado, Lin Yan waved his hand. A nearby tree shattered with a crack and transformed into a long spear, which fell into his hand. "Wind!" Xiao Yan shouted again from afar. His arms suddenly vanished, transforming into two massive, visible wind blades that sliced toward Lin Yan. Lin Yan swung his spear to fend off the wind blades, but to his shock, the spear was instantly cut off. Despite using his Reincarnation Spear Technique, Xiao Yan's wind blades were so unique that they kept shaving away at the spear until it was completely gone. The wind blades then closed in on Lin Yan's body.
Just as the wind blades were about to strike, Lin Yan smiled. Following his smile, two giant mirrors appeared on the ground and above, creating a mirrored world. This was Lin Yan’s most unique and powerful secret technique, the Dual Mirror World.
Surrounded by mirrors, Xiao Yan was alarmed to see Lin Yan casually create wind blades identical to his own. These wind blades collided with Xiao Yan's, but were immediately dissipated, showing that Lin Yan's replicated wind blades weren't as powerful. Xiao Yan's face showed a smug expression. However, his smile faded quickly as Lin Yan began continuously generating more wind blades through the mirrored world until they overwhelmed Xiao Yan’s original blades, completely neutralizing them.
Xiao Yan's arms returned to normal, and his expression turned serious as he looked at Lin Yan. "Brother Lin, the warm-up is over. Now, be careful."
With that, Xiao Yan’s body turned into wind, and the fierce gusts rushed toward Lin Yan, shearing off the mountain tops. Feeling the approaching storm, Lin Yan's eyes turned blood-red. This was his final secret technique: Red Eyes World.
As his eyes turned crimson, two enormous blood-red eyes appeared in the mirrors above and below, coldly scanning the storm for Xiao Yan. But Xiao Yan seemed to have fully transformed into the wind, making him undetectable.
