Chapter 5: Kicked Away Again!:
“What… what just happened? Did I see that right? Did Ye Wuhen really kick Nalan Yanran away with one kick???”
“I can’t believe my eyes either, but Nalan Yanran was definitely sent flying!”
“Ye Wuhen is only at the 5th stage of the Qi Gathering Realm. How did he do that? And that kick didn’t even seem impressive!!!”
After a moment of stunned silence, the crowd at the gate of the Ye family residence erupted into chatter.
Inside the Ye family courtyard, Nalan Xiu and his companions stood frozen in disbelief.
“What… what happened? How could Nalan Yanran not block that kick?”
A Nalan family member couldn’t help but voice his confusion.
“Shut up… Yanran must have been careless!” Nalan Xiu scolded angrily.
The Ye family members were equally confused, unable to understand how Ye Wuhen had managed to pull it off. Only the old patriarch of the Ye family looked relieved and content. He didn’t care how his grandson did it; as long as Ye Wuhen wasn’t the one getting hurt, it was enough for him.
